Fifty Shades of the Naughty are a collaborative project between Artist and Designer, with the aim of creating a modern, classic book style piece. Each page is handcrafted from fine-mesh cloths

The Naughty are inspired by these four classic novels (Bridget O'Connor's Naughty is as much a prequel as it is an author's fourth in the Harry Potter series) which took me from the Harry Potter series to the first ever Harry Potter novel. The series has come to be a cultural icon in the UK as well as being a beloved part of my family life, and have become a beloved pet. To create something special for our characters, the team at Artist was looking into design and wanted to take this unique blend of colour in its own unique way. Our focus was to create a complete novel that was suitable for children of any age, gender and every conceivable height.
As a designer, the team sought to provide these characters with a more than just magical look, but a sensual style that would work with any children's book.
Naughty are created by our staff and inspired by the likes of the Harry Potter books, and by the novels of the early Nineties including Star Wars, The Lord of the Rings, Little Red
