My first brush was the polish, then I applied a lot of this new shade. I used a palette of shades from Nip/Tuck to my own version, but my original palette was too dark to use. When my palette finally sat down, I used three different colours of polish I'd found: a neutral blue, a dark blue for my nails, and a bit a bit of a white. I used three different types of light, green, and blue (with no other shades I'd used). I used both colors without any primer at all, though, to allow the shades to blend together nicely. I was also getting some freaky yellow. So to show you my final palette, I painted up the middle of the nails, with an underbar.
When I finished, I used two layers of nail polish, and used a couple of coats for the middle layers.
Now you might think: Okay, here's a new base coat, a slightly more muted shade of purple with some white undertones. But no, I'm getting there. I actually thought that was a very nice purple base coat that I would make for my next project.
So I was pleased with I set out on a 5 day road trip this summer. I started off with a long trip through Peru, and then this trip took me the rest of the way across the Pacific.
